About Karen


Karen Hill has worked with RE/MAX First Choice Realty Ltd. for over 25 years, 17 of them as a licensed realtor serving Thunder Bay and the surrounding region.  She loves being part of the different stages of her client's lives, helping them navigate life's changes.  Having grown up on a dairy farm in rural Thunder Bay, Karen will tell you she is a "real" expert in rural properties.  In a "big small town" where everyone knows everyone, Karen loves the camaraderie and communication between her real estate colleagues. In 2022 she expanded her business adding an admin assistant Erin and real estate intern Tori.


Known for her attention to detail and dedication, Karens years of experience have given her a large local network.  This allows Karen to match her clients with a long list of skilled professionals, such as plumbers, lawyers, electricians and home inspectors. Karens management skills ensure that when she is with her clients, she is fully present.


Many of Karen clients are first and second time home buyers. Karen frequently serves relocation clients, such as RCMP, Ontario Power Generation, the Canadian Military and newcomers to Thunder Bay.  Her vast global network of professional realtors ensure that she can help you find the right connection, no matter where you are moving from or to.


Karen Hill is a RE/MAX Hall of Fame member, has achieved the Platinum award and is the past president of the Thunder Bay Real Estate Board 2022.  Karen is also a proud Miracle Agent-donating a portion of each sale to the Children's Miracle Network, supporting local medical services.  She is passionate about family, whether it be her own children, her RE/MAX family, her community or those at the Ontario Real Estate Association, when she volunteers time to helping to create changes that positively impact Ontario homeowners. When Karen is not working, you'll find her playing golf, walking her dogs or volunteering at Shelter House.

About Kaity

Kaity Howarth is an emerging Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX First Choice Realty Ltd. who is looking forward to putting down deep roots in her hometown through the relationships she will build by helping clients on their real estate journeys. Kaity entered her Real Estate career after returning home from her Professional Hockey Career in Montreal, QC all while juggling being the owner and head Coach of Thunder Bay’s only fully women-owned and operated women’s hockey camp, For The Girls. 


Known for her strong work ethic and investment in her community, Kaity is beginning her real estate career with an established network of invaluable connections, her experiences have molded her professionally and personally. Equipped with a deep understanding of the importance of attention to detail, this makes Kaity a pleasure to work with. 


Kaity’s partnership with Karen Hill allows Kaity to benefit from Karens over 25 years of knowledge and experience while bringing a fresh perspective to the market. Following in Karen’s footsteps, Kaity will also be a proud Children’s Miracle Agent, donating a portion of each sale to the Children's Miracle Network, and supporting local medical services. 


When Kaity is not working, you can find her at one of the many rinks across Thunder Bay! Whether it is volunteering as the Head of Hockey Development for the Thunder Bay Queen’s Hockey Organization or coaching and acting as a development lead for one of the many other hockey organizations in town. Kaity’s dedication to giving back to the community that built her is as strong as her determination to be outstanding in her Real Estate Career.
